Bundled in Love Baby Announcement

Hi All, I hope you don't mind that I'm trying to get caught up on posting cards I have previously made. I want to get caught up on those, while I don't have the time to stamp. All products used for this are Stampin Up.

I scanned this and the colors look off a little, so please bear with me. This is such a cute baby set. Who can resist all those cute little critters?! I know I sure can't!! The size for this is 5 1/2" X 5".

Stamp Set: Bundled in Love
Card Stock: Tempting Turquoise, Very Vanilla, So Saffron, Soft Sky and Watercolor Paper
Ink: Basic Black, Tempting Turquoise, Soft Sky
Watercolor Crayons: Chocolate Chip
White Gel Pen & Black Marker (for faux stitching)
Ribbons: Very Vanilla 1/4" Grosgrain, Light Blue Gingham

After I finished, I kinda wish I had used water color paper and water colored the giraffe. I was afraid it would outshine the cute bear on the front, but now I wish I had of tried it. Oh well, there's always next time! lol

I don't know about you, but I have really gotten into the Olympics this year. I'm really enjoying them. I'm really proud of the athletes. They endure such grueling, intense workouts day in and day out. They all have alot more grit than I do!! It's been fun to follow the Olympics.

Well, it's wayyyyyyyy past bedtime here, so I had better hit the hay. I hope you enjoy this card. Take care all and I'll be back soon,

Bronc Buster

Hi Stampers, I hope you're all finding some time to stamp. I haven't, but I'm busy with getting the house changed around the way we want it. It will be good to have that behind me! I'm hoping by next week I can get some free time to stamp! woohoooooo

I'm posting another card, that I didn't manage to post yet. Thought I'd share it with you all.
This card is a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" square card. I used all Stampin Up products for this card, except the twine and I can't remember where I got that from.

Stamp sets: Bronc Buster and Fundamental Phrases
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip and Going Gray
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accesories: Antique Brass Jumbo Eyelet

I like this for a masculine card, it seems like I never seem to have one when I need it!! lol

I've been watching the Olympics at nite and I'm really enjoying them. I'm amazed and in awe at the excellent atheletes out there. It's in their heart to do what they do, and Michael Phelps!!!
Wowzer!! I'm just amazed!!! Ok, I've rambled on enough.

Until next time my friends...
have a great nite,

We're home!

Hi folks, we are home! We pulled in very late Sunday nite. I spent yesterday basically trying to recoup on some badly needed rest. I feel much better today and able to get some work done. Lots of unpacking to do. I was able to do some shopping while in the states, picked up lots of staples for the kitchen that would of cost me nearly double here in Nova Scotia. I was tickled pink about that!!!!

We had a wonderful time while we were away. Scotty (DH) was able to get lots of fishing in. He made a new friend and fishing buddy and they had a good time out on the many lakes that surround us there. I was able to spend lots and lots of good quality time with my wonderful Mom!!! We both enjoyed it so very much, it was awesome! Ofcourse, the day came when we had to leave the mountains and believe me, there were many, many, many tears shed by both my Mom and I once I had left. But, we are both better now and back in the routine they call life. I will cherish those days until I can be back with my Mom!!

Ok, enough about vacation...I just wanted to let you know we are back safely and I will soon be stampin' again and YESSSSSSSS, I'll be posting!!! I missed it alot, and am looking forward to sharing my cards with you again, soon. Thanks to you all for your emails while I was gone, encouraging me to just relax and have fun and to not worry about blogging til I returned. You are all so kind! I truly appreciate your patience and kindnesses!!!!
Toodles, for now....Ret.
